Recently there has been a surge in the drone market. Based on the latest data, the FAA predicts the commercial drone market will triple over the next five years, hitting 835,000 aircraft by 2023.

The two leading drone manufactures of drones are DJI and Yunecc
Both companies offer a wide range of specialized drones for a variety of occasions.

PRICE

In this world, there are two genres of drones: the small, feeble, plastic ones that you can get for 20$ at a local hobby store and the durable, professional drones that look like they come from the future. All this elegance comes at a price that rarely dips below 400$.

The average price of DJI Drone is around 700$. The compact upscaled models like the Mavic 2 and Mavic 1 cost a little over 1000$, and the older Phantom, of course, cost about 500$. The Mavic series is known for its ability to be packed away anywhere due to its size resembling an Ipad mini. While the phantoms are larger, they offer greater stability in windy conditions.

The average price of a Yunecc Drone is about 1300$. While slightly higher in price, most products come with an intuitive touch display to see the pictures in first-person view (FPV). There most popular drone remains the Typhoon H and has gone through many revisions and ultimately gets better in design every year.

Image Quality

This is one of the comparisons that depends on the drone your buying. Most DJI drones have 4k, but the same applies to Yunecc. The one thing I would say about Yunecc is that the Typhoon series has a considerable sensor capable of picking up a broad spectrum of colors. The Mavic, on the other hand, has to be small so it doesn't have the greatest sensor ever.

Nowadays it's just assumed if you buy a drone over about 600$ it will have 4k. And DJI has recently pioneered a drone series that can take 6k photos with an X5 camera. This is the Inspire Series.
